WebCams Controller is a software application (with a totally UGLY user interface) designed with the purpose to allow the user to control multiple video devices from one single application.
Here’s a question: What happens (on Windows at least) when you have 2 identical web-cams connected to the same computer? Let us tell you what happens:
- they all have the same DRIVER NAME (for example, they will be all named Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910).
- they all will share the same camera software (from the Logitech provider in our example)
OK, perhaps you will think that there is no issue yet. But there is. For example, if you want to use one C910 for XLoveCam and the other for LiveJasmin, how would you be able to know who-is-who? (they are all named the same). And what happens if you want to play with the Zoom/Whatever_settings from the camera for LiveJasmin? How would you do that?
Without CHATLIVE’s WebCams Controller it is harder than you think.
